The package

Westmead Enabling Works prepare the Westmead end of Sydney Metro’s Sydney Metro West alignment for main construction. FR2 contributed planning support.

Enabling works are what make a site available: utility diversions, demolition, site establishment, access and the property and interface arrangements that have to be settled before a main works contractor can start. They sit on the critical path of everything that follows, which is why they are programmed carefully and early.
