DIGITAL TWIN CAPABILITY MODEL

After many months, the DTP Capability Working Group has published a Capability Model to support your Digital Twin capability development. Capability refers to a specific function, feature, or aspect of a Digital Twin system or model that enables it to simulate, represent, analyse, or interact with its real-world counterpart effectively.

The Model is structured around defining capabilities for the following five elements:

  • Data
  • Skills
  • Process
  • Technology
  • Management

Released today, the capability model offers an on-a-page view of the ‘core’ capabilities for each of the above elements. The second publication currently in the works includes supporting notes for a series of ‘enabling’ capabilities for each. This will be published in the coming months.

DTP encourage stakeholders to download, use and offer feedback to the DTP via: info@digitaltwinpartnership.com

Join the inaugural AWS and Red Hat GameDay in Sydney!

Register Here

This AWS and Red Hat GameDay is a collaborative learning experience designed to test your skills in implementing AWS and Red Hat solutions on AWS to solve real-world problems in a fun and risk-free environment! If you enjoy open-ended challenges without step-by-step instructions, look no further.

This approach is unconventional compared to other learning formats. Ambiguity and non-prescriptive guidance allows participants to work in a small team to think creatively as you navigate a wide array of technical challenges. There is no one right answer; teams pave their own path based on the resources provided, within live AWS accounts.

The setting for every AWS GameDay is a famous (fictitious) narrative, where participants are new hires at Unicorn. Rentals and this is their first day on the job.

You will learn about:

  • Containerisation
  • AI/ML and OpenShift AI
  • Developer experience and tooling
  • CI/CD, GitOps
  • Autoscaling
  • CloudOps
  • Automation
  • Compliance and vulnerability scanning
  • Application containerisation
  • Container scanning
  • Automatic OS updates

The AWS and Red Hat GameDay is intended for:

  • Cloud Architects
  • Developers
  • Operations Engineers

Location: Amazon Web Services (AWS), 2 Park Street Sydney
Time: 12.00 PM – 5.30 PM (including lunch and networking drinks)

If you’re keen to learn how Red Hat and AWS work together to solve your cloud challenges, this GameDay is for you!

Questions? Please contact Rebecca Innes at rinnes@redhat.com.

Note:
Red Hat is committed to the health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees. All attendees will be expected to follow Red Hat and local guidelines regarding COVID-19. Please do not attend if you are feeling ill or have any symptoms of a viral infection. Please note that all protocols are subject to change.
