Fran is the Infrastructure Coordinator at FR2 and specialises in rail infrastructure projects, with extensive experience working in live rail environments. Extension of Time Services

Project delays are inevitable. When they occur, understanding the impact on schedule, costs, and contractual obligations is critical. Our Extension of Time (EOT) services support commercial claims from a planning perspective, helping you quantify delay impacts, establish causation, and build defensible EOT claims. We combine advanced scheduling analysis with commercial expertise to support negotiations and dispute resolution.

Schedule Analysis & Delay Quantification

Analyse project schedules to quantify delay impacts. We review baseline schedules, track actual progress, and model delay scenarios to establish the critical path impact of delay events. We use industry-standard tools (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to conduct rigorous schedule analysis.

Causation & Responsibility Analysis

Establish causation and responsibility for delays. We analyse delay events, trace their impact through the schedule, and determine whether delays are contractually excusable (entitling the contractor to EOT) or compensable (entitling the contractor to EOT and costs).

EOT Claim Development & Support

Develop defensible EOT claims supported by schedule analysis and documentation. We prepare detailed delay narratives, schedule models, and impact assessments. We support claim submissions and respond to client challenges with rigorous analysis and evidence.

Baseline & Scenario Modelling

Develop and maintain project baselines and model delay scenarios. We establish baseline schedules aligned with contract requirements, track actual progress against baselines, and model “what-if” scenarios to quantify delay impacts under different assumptions.

Live Program Management & Tracking

Manage live project schedules and track progress against baselines. We maintain current schedules, update progress, identify emerging delays, and provide early warning of schedule risks. We support proactive delay management and timely EOT notifications.
